Camouflage makeup
This is the application of specialised coloured creams, powders and sprays to conceal skin pigmentation problems such as Vitiligo or melasma, birthmarks such as port wine stains or scars such as those caused by discoid lupus erythromatosus or burns. Tattoos can also be covered with good results.
The products are formulated to match and blend in with the colour of your skin and stay on for 8 to 16 hours. They are water resistant and you can do sports or go swimming with the products on.
At your consultation, the products that work best for you are selected and you are shown how to apply them yourself. Any questions or concerns are fully addressed.

Most of the products are available on NHS prescription at your GPs discretion.
We provide a letter, for your GP, with full detail of the products that suit you best. If decorative, cosmetic make up is required, it can be applied over the camouflage.
Any topical medication creams or sun protection can be applied to the skin below the camouflage products.
